The boring but important part
Privacy, terms
and disclaimer.
How KiwiCue handles your information and what using the site means. Last updated 26 August 2026.
Privacy
There is no account, so there is no profile
KiwiCue has no sign-up and no login. We do not ask for your name, email address or phone number, and there is nothing for us to hold.
Saved items stay on your device
When you save a giveaway or a deal, it is written to your own browser's local storage. It never reaches us. Clearing your browser data deletes it, and it will not follow you to another device or another browser.
What our hosting provider sees
The site is served by Vercel, which, like any web host, records standard request information such as IP address, browser type and which page was requested. This is ordinary server logging that happens before our code runs. We do not currently add analytics, advertising or tracking cookies of our own.
Retailer logos
Some brand logos are loaded from Google's public favicon service, so Google may see that a request was made for that image. No information about you is attached to it.
When you leave the site
Entering a giveaway or buying anything happens on the promoter's or retailer's own website. Once you click through, their privacy policy applies, not ours. We have no visibility of what you do there.
If this changes
Adding accounts, alerts or analytics would change all of the above. If that happens, this page gets rewritten before the feature ships, not after.
Terms of use
What KiwiCue is
A discovery tool. We collect publicly advertised New Zealand giveaways and retailer sales into one place so you do not have to check dozens of sites yourself.
What KiwiCue is not
We do not run any of the competitions listed here, we are not the promoter, and we have no say in who wins. We do not sell any of the products shown and we take no payment from you. Entry and purchase always happen on the source website, under that company's terms.
Information may be wrong or out of date
Listings are gathered from public web pages and checked before publishing, but promotions change without notice. Closing dates move, prizes get substituted, sales end early and terms are amended. Always confirm the details on the promoter's own page before relying on them. Where our information and theirs disagree, theirs is correct.
Entry costs
We label each giveaway by what entry appears to cost: free, a social action, or a purchase. We only state this when the source page says so plainly, and anything unclear is held back rather than guessed. It is still a summary of someone else's terms, so read theirs.
Eligibility
Most listings are open to New Zealand residents only, and many carry age limits or regional restrictions we may not have captured. The promoter's terms decide who can enter.
Availability
This is an early test running on free infrastructure. It may be slow, incomplete or offline without warning, and it may change or disappear entirely.
Trade marks
Retailer and promoter names and logos belong to their owners. They appear here to identify whose promotion a listing refers to. No endorsement, sponsorship or affiliation is implied, and none currently exists.
Listings and sources
Where listings come from
Publicly accessible pages published by retailers, radio stations, magazines and other promoters. We read the same pages you could visit yourself and pull out the prize, the entry method and the closing date.
How they are checked
A listing is only published once its entry cost is stated plainly on the source page. Anything ambiguous waits for a person to read the terms and decide. This is deliberately cautious: it is better to list fewer competitions than to describe one as free when it is not.
Coverage is incomplete, on purpose
Some retailers block automated access, and some publish nothing we can read. The feed reflects what we can verify, not everything happening in New Zealand. Product search is currently a small illustrative sample across a few retailers and is not nationwide coverage.
Something wrong?
If a listing has expired, is inaccurate, or you are a promoter who would rather not appear here, tell us and we will correct or remove it.
